This is a handout to describe how to use EndNote X3. It is focused on the BioMedical area and covers linking to PubMed, Web of Knowledge, other bibliographic providers (OVID and EBSCO) and searching for book information. The notes include how to use Word 2003 and Word 2007

Advice for reuse

Check that the online bibliographic sources are working correctly before use. This is best done from the area where you will be teaching. They could be used with EndNote X3 but will the screenshots need updating. A short PowerPoint presentation for introducing the session is also available. Called 'Managing References'
